Refectocil Brow and Lash Tint- Review!!

Is there any girl in Dubai who is not crazy about those dense brows? Anyone? Does any girl step out of the house without doing her brows?

Eyebrows must always be on fleek!!

With this whole brow frenzy going on and the added chore of filling them in everyday, I had to look for an easy way out. There were many options but most of them expensive and not worth it. Heard of micro-blading? It's better than an eye brow tattoo but you shell out around AED 1200 for this. Tattoo looks too artificial IMO so its a NO NO for me.

So what am I left with? Easiest available options were Henna and Color (dye). Temp solutions but worth a try.

In comes "Refectocil Brow and Lash Tint". This product is cruelty free, not tested on animals and Vegan 😎💃

I got my kit on E bay for around AED 80 and the kit included the tint cream, the developer and a mixing container. Chose shade no.3 which is dark brown and after being equipped with a couple of YouTube videos I was good to give it a shot.

What do I think about the product?

Well if you look too washed out because of light or invisible brows then this product will work wonders for you. It also makes your face look well defined and brows look naturally fuller. On days when you step out without any makeup this stuff is a blessing.

Reduces the chore of filling them in everyday and you should be good for about a week. I say a week because apart from having light eyebrows they are also sparse. I need the dye to tint my skin and need it to stay tinted for a long time (you would know my pain if you suffer from gaps and patches in your brows). If you don't have this issue then the tint will be your best friend because the color will stay on the hair for up to 6 weeks.

I've used the tint about thrice so far and I feel that the tint washes off from the skin pretty easily and by Day 4 I'm back to filling them in. I could re-tint and it would take just 15 mins to do the entire process however laziness kicks in and it feels like this is another chore.

There is a silver lining to tinting your brows at home though.. you end up saving big bucks... 💗😎😍. If I take an avg spend of AED 55 per week for just tinting you will save around AED 2,650 in a year. That's a good amount to save, this DIY is totally worth it!

Tinted hair needs aftercare just like colored hair. Refectocil does sell an aftercare gel but I use plain old castor oil and will work just fine.

Will I repurchase?

If I find a more natural option that works well then may be not. Otherwise this baby has been nice so far!! It does save time and keeps my brows on point.
