Neal's Yard Remedies Rosemary and Cedarwood Hair Treatment- Review and DIY!!

Image
There are very few things that I've tried from NYR and one of them is this hair treatment. I accidentally tried it at a friend's place and within a couple of uses I could see results. NYR is known for their organic skin care and for using finest ingredients. Plus being certified Organic guarantees the quality of the ingredients used. Trying to launch my own skincare line I know how stringent the laws are for being certified organic and NYR certainly delivers. Living in Dubai the hard water certainly contributes to hair loss and balding. This hair treatment contains power packed ingredients known to improve your hair, adding shine, volume and reducing hair loss; let's have a closer look at what these ingredients do: Rosemary is a phenomenal oil to put on your hair and scalp. It effectively increases circulation, treats dandruff and gives life to all types of imbalanced and undernourished hair. It supports the scalp by reducing oily and congested skin a...

LUSH Veganese Hair Conditioner- Review!!

Image
This conditioner is the reason why I started using Lush's haircare products, let's just say until Veganese happened to me I had very little faith and knowledge about Lush Haircare. Let me start with describing my hair type. I have wavy, frizzy hair which needs keratin treatment every six months. Although I have frizzy hair and a lot of people would recommend a medium to heavy conditioner to tame the frizz, Veganese worked like a dream for me. I don't color my hair so it isn't dry and lifeless. I also don't need extra moisturizing like people with colored hair would! Veganese is a light conditioner with a lovely citrus scent and provides just enough conditioning for my hair. I let my hair air dry or cold dry if I need to rush out and in both cases my hair was bouncy wavy and shiny minus the frizz. It doesn't cause buildup, is weightless, conditioning, softening and soothing. Whenever I use this conditioner I be like: I love this conditioner but h...

LUSH- The Olive Branch Shower Gel Review!!

Image
If anyone knows how to perfume your body it has to be LUSH.... There is so much thought put behind every product they make. Olive branch is made with such lovely ingredients its worth every penny. Vine leaf infusion, Fair trade Olive oil, Orange flower absolute, fresh Mandarin Juice... and of course the sulfates. (why don't you stop using them LUSH?) The fragrance used in Olive Branch is one of their best and if it's your first time with Lush shower gels give this one a try. Like with most of their products the scent of Olive branch borders around woodsy and spicy base notes with floral and citrus top notes. If you're a sucker for masculine scents you will LOOOOVE this!! I say LUSH needs to build a range around Olive branch. Please throw in some body lotions, soaps, bath bombs, shampoo bars and conditioners with this scent.... It's that Awesome!! As much as I enjoy this shower gel I find it a bit drying and I decided to 'super fat' it.  If you enjoy...

Lush Karma Komba- Solid Shampoo Review!!

Image
The idea of solid shampoo's was a bit like "Eh" to me. Boyfriend said "Nobody uses shampoo bars" but some surfing on Lush's website got me excited like a kid looking at a red sugary popsicle waiting to be devoured.... fast forward Karma Komba arrives in my mail. I have oily roots, wavy and moderately thick hair. My ends are a bit dry because of my highlights but otherwise I think they are normal (not oily or dry). The website doesn't specify which shampoo bar is designed for normal/dry/oily/wavy hair so do not expect much help there. I bought mine based on reviews and some research which was a result of boredom at work. (Do you do this too? Or Am I just special? 😎) I didn't take any time to adjust to a shampoo bar.. it lathered well for me. The bar isn't soft, it does stick to the tin but that isn't an issue for me. I didn't find too much of product getting stuck or wasted as I see people complaining about or maybe I just hav...
